JACKIE TYRRELL has been impressing GAA fans on and off the pitch for over 20 years.
The Kilkenny legend has been an All-Ireland winning captain while accumulating an outrageous amount of medals during his illustrious career.

After retiring from inter-county hurling in 2016, Tyrrell took up a new role as an analyst and pundit for RTE.
Aside from all of this, the 41-year-old is married to his long-time partner Clare and the couple have two children together.
Here, SunSport takes a look at the hectic life of one of Kilkenny’s finest:
Who is Jackie Tyrrell’s wife and do they have any kids?
Tyrrell tied the knot with his partner Clare back in 2017.
The couple have gone on to have two sons together, Harry and Freddie.
How successful was Tyrrell’s hurling career?
Tyrrell was added to the Kilkenny senior panel in 2003 after captaining their Under-21s to an All-Ireland title.
Over the following fourteen seasons, the Cats legend won nine All-Ireland’s, eleven Leinster titles, six National Hurling Leagues and four All-Star’s.
Tyrrell was denied a record-equalling tenth All-Ireland medal in 2016 in what turned out to be his last campaign appearance.
He announced his retirement from inter-county hurling in November of the same year.
When did Tyrrell make his RTE debut?
Tyrrell made his first punditry outing back in February of 2017 on Allianz League Sunday.
He has since gone to earn his spot on The Sunday Game panel while entertaining fans with his iconic three-piece suit attire.
Tyrrell is known for his fashion and even had a range of clothes with Littlewoods Ireland.
Back in July, the Kilkenny icon’s outfit was the subject of ridicule from Joe Brolly but it didn’t end well for the Derry native.
Brolly tweeted: “Fair play to Jackie Tyrrell dropping into the Sunday Game studio on the way to his wedding. Also joined by Neven Maguire (Anthony Daly) and Liam Sheedy.”
However, Tyrrell wound up having an ideal Sunday between seeing his county triumph and him delivering the following comeback which dwarfed Brolly’s for likes in an indicator of who won the war:
“Only keeping your seat warm for you Joe. Oh wait ….”
Brolly of course hasn’t worked for the national broadcaster since being let go following the 2019 drawn All-Ireland final with his contract allowed to run out.
