CONOR MURRAY has officially put pen to paper on a new one-year contract at Munster.
The Ireland legend will stay at his native province until the summer of 2025 – ending months of speculation surrounding his future.

Murray’s central contract with the IRFU was due to run out at the end of this season but the Reds have held onto their veteran scrum-half.
While the 34-year-old’s services are secured for another year, there is still uncertainty over another Ireland icon.
Peter O’Mahony is still yet to commit to a new contract with the province, with speculation linking him with a move to France.
O’Mahony put the ambiguity behind him as he captained Andy Farrell‘s men to back-to-back Six Nations titles.
The final day win over Scotland in Dublin was an emotional occasion for the Corkman, who cried during the national anthems amid rumours that he could retire from international rugby.
He was back in the red of Munster at the weekend, as Graham Rowntree’s men beat Cardiff in the United Rugby Championship.
And speaking afterwards, Rowntree praised his second rower for hitting the ground running.
He said: “Pete was great tonight. He had a big performance, he spoke really well without being the team captain, spoke really well and it was a real, battling performance from Pete tonight.”
Meanwhile, Rowntree revealed that he was expecting an update on O’Mahony’s future in the next few days.
He said: “I’ve opened up this door now, haven’t I. Imminent I think. There’ll be news on that imminently.”
The uncertainty around O’Mahony’s future was a theme heading into Ireland’s final day win over Scotland in the Six Nations.
Reports had emerged that morning that he could hang up the boots, a prospect about which he was asked after the game.
He told Virgin Media: “I don’t know. I have a few chats to have with the family and stuff over the next couple of weeks.
“If it is my last one, it is not a bad one to go out on.”
Murray wasn’t the only star to sign a new deal this week as Jack Daly committed to a one-year extension to his current deal.
Mean while academy and Ireland Under-20 star Brian Gleeson will move up to the senior squad next season on a two-year professional contract.
