TOMAS O’SE returned to RTE on Allianz League Sunday to analyse this weekend’s GAA league finals.
O’Se was joined by Ciaran Whelan as the panel reflected on Derry’s thrilling Division 1 triumph over Dublin along with the other clashes.

Widely regarded as one of the best players of his generation, GAA fans always welcome the sight of O’Se on RTE.
The Kerry legend enjoyed a stellar playing career during which he won five All-Stars and now he returns from his punditry duty to his huge family.
Here, SunSport takes a look at the hectic life of O’Se:
Who is Tomas O’Se’s wife?
Tomas married his long-term partner Orla Ni Fhlatharta in December 2017.
Their ceremony took place in the five-star Fota Island Hotel located in County Cork.
How many kids do they have?
The couple have four children in daughters Ailidh, Eabha and Evie along with son Micheal.
The youngest of them, Evie, was born in April 2020.
Given their uncles Darragh and Marc are also among Kerry’s modern greats, they boast about as rich a GAA bloodline as one can have.
And that’s not even mentioning their late grand-uncle Paidi – who cast a huge shadow over The Kingdom as both a player and manager.
What does O’Se work as?
The 45-year-old works in the Rebel County as a principal in Gaelscoil de h-Ide in Fermoy.
He took up that post in summer of 2022 with it being the primary factor behind him not succeeding John Maughan as Offaly manager has had been planned.
Punditry Duty
As O’Se reflected on the Division 1 final between Derry and Dublin, one of the standout moments was a mass brawl that occurred in extra-time.
Himself and Whelan branded it ‘stupid’ by the Dubs after Greg McEnaney had somehow found the net to force a penalty shootout.
As pumped up Dublin players ran back into position, two of them needlessly ran into an isolated Conor McCluskey.
O’Se pointed the finger of blame squarely at Tom Lahiff and Cian Murphy, during his analysis.
He said: “There was no need for Tom Lahiff and Cian Murphy to have a cut off Conor McCluskey which started the whole thing.
“I think that was stupid. They had just gotten their score, they should’ve just gotten back into position and set up.
“There was a lot of pushing and shoving that didn’t look well at all at all.
“But I don’t think there was anything major within the actual fracas itself.
“But it all started because of the Dubs scoring…retreating…and having a go off McCluskey on the way out.”
