Stevie rose to fame after his performance on The Late Late Toy Show before Christmas.

As he was signing his heart out, none other than Ireland internationals Peter O’Mahony and Bundee Aki came on stage to surprise the young boy.

Once he realised what was going on, Stevie melted viewers’ hearts by calling it the “best day of my life.”

Patrick Kielty – making his Toy Show hosting debut – then revealed that Stevie and his entire family would be gifted tickets to the Six Nations clash with Italy.

It was at this match that Stevie gained even more fans as he belted out Ireland’s Call in front of 50,000 supporters before kick-off.

After his brilliant rendition, fans flooded social media with praise for the Kilkenny lad.

One fan wrote: “That’s it. Ireland’s Call has peaked. Everyone else can give up now. Best rendition ever recorded.”

Another commented: “That gorgeous boy belting out Ireland’s Call with so much passion is up their with the greatest rendition of a national anthem I’ve ever heard.”

Fast forward to today and Stevie is getting showered with love once again after performing the anthem with the Women’s side at the RDS.

One said: “Moment of the match already decided! Well done Stevie!”

Another added: “What an amazing young man.”

A third wrote: “Oh what a little STAR he is!”

While there was a record crowd at the RDS today, it may not have been as intimidating for Stevie as the packed Aviva Stadium in February.

Stevie had said that it ‘scared the life’ out of him as he and his father Seamus spoke about the experience during an appearance on Morning Ireland.

The Kilkenny youngster also admitted to having only practised the song five times in the days leading up to the game, and only ONCE on the day itself.

He said: “I remember the big crowds that was scaring the life out of me.

“I loved it and when I got into the song, I didn’t feel a little bit nervous.”
